Q:Can St. John Knits be dyed?
A:St. John knits dye very well, especially if there are stains (only to a darker color). They may shrink from 1/2 a size to a size, but they usually turn out very well.
Q:Can St. John Knits be made larger?
A:The process called blocking can make St. John Knits larger in size. The maximum result depends on the exact content of the knit.
Q:Do knitwear alterations show on garments?
A:If you use a professional knitwear specialist, the knit alterations shouldn't show. Shortening pants, skirts, tops, jackets, sweaters can have the same finishing as original.
