Q: HOW ARE THE PLAQUES MADE AND FROM WHAT?
A: They are made from high quality MDF which is moisture resistant. The paints are non-toxic and they are sprayed with a clear lacquer, which gives them a very durable finish.
Q: CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN PLAQUE COLOURS?
A: No, the plaque colours are as shown in the listings and cannot be changed. We can take colour requests for the letters, depending on availability.
Q: CAN I PUT ANY WORD THAT I LIKE ON THE PLAQUE?
A: Yes, we can fit up to 9 letters (in a row) on a plaque and they are not limited to names only. Other suggestions are; Toilet, Bathroom, Laundry, Bar, Welcome, Keep Out, Private or a Pet's Name.
Q: CAN I BUY A PLAQUE WITHOUT ANY LETTERS?
A: Yes, we can supply the plaque only, without letters. A $2 discount will apply to the order. Please advise me before making payment so we can send an amended invoice.
Q: WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE A PLAQUE FROM THE DOOR?
A: Dental floss or fine wire pulled between the door and plaque will remove the plaque, by breaking the double-sided tape. Methylated spirits will soften the remaining adhesive, which can be rubbed off with your finger.
Q: WILL YOU REPLACE AN ITEM DAMAGED IN TRANSIT?
A: Yes - Compulsary insurance is required on all plaque orders for an additional fee of $3 per order. This covers the item for loss or damage in transit. *Please note* We no longer use Insurance or Registered Mail through Australia Post. Instead, we offer our own Insurance protection with is a much smoother and hassle-free claim process. In some cases we may request that the damaged item be returned to us or we may require photographic evidence to verify the claim. If uninsured items are damaged in transit, it is the buyers responsibility to contact Australia Post for compensation.
Q: HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
A: Your items will be dispatched within 5 working days (after your payment has cleared). I post on TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS only. Delivery may take 1-2 weeks through Australia Post.
Q: CAN I GET A POSTAGE DISCOUNT IF I ORDER MORE THAN 1 ITEM?
A: Yes, please advise which items you would like and email me your postcode. I will calculate postage based on the weight and size of the package.
