Complete, and looking very, very polished ! |
| |
|
ban·shee Pronunciation: 'ban-(")shE, ban-' Function: noun Etymology: Irish bean sídhe & Scottish Gaelic bean sìth, literally, woman of fairyland : a female spirit in Gaelic folklore whose appearance or wailing warns a family that one of them will soon die
Custom built for Robert Price we make no secret of the fact that this masterpiece was inspired by the guitars of Muse's Matt Bellamy. But Robert wanted a guitar with a crunchy Les Paul sound, distinctive highly chromed mechanical styling, light in weight and with a high quality, durable and reflective finish.
Robert knew what he wanted on the electronics/technology side, and in terms of on-board effects asked us to squeeze in a fuzz (complete with RF antenna), a pitch shifter and a MIDI divided pickup. This proved to be a challenge - nearly 5 months from start to finish - but we are well pleased with our achievements and, needless to say, Robert is thrilled with the result.
Extremely powerful and very, very, versatile this is one hell of a guitar. A masterpiece you won't buy anywhere, there will only ever be one "Banshee". |
