Modeling Paste

2 Large Egg Whites

Pure icing Sugar (450g ish) - Sifted

20g Tylopur/CMC

20g Copha - Melted and cooled.

 

Mix Egg white and icing 1 table spoon at a time until soft peaks form.  - Royal Icing.

Beat for an extra 3 mins on low so you don’t get bubbles.

Add the copha.

Add the Tylophur.

Kneed till smooth.

Cut into about 4 pieces and double wrap in cling wrap.  Place into an air tight container.

 

You can freeze this modeling paste and it will last for ages.  Just take it out of the freexer as you need it.

 

Icing Glue

¼ teaspoon of Tylophur/CMC

50mls of boiled water.

 

Mix and let stand over night.
