| 1.
How much will it cost to send an item to me?
All
my shipping charges are detailed at the bottom of each listing.
If you are in Australia, you can choose from Regular, Registered
or Express Post. Packages going outside of Australia are
sent Air Mail, and international buyers also have the option
of purchasing Insurance for the listed cost.
2.
Do you combine shipping for multiple purchases?
Yes,
I'm happy to combine multiple item purchases in the one
package to minimise overall shipping costs. If you would
like an exact quote, please email me with the Item Numbers
you are interested in, along with either your Australian
postcode or country of destination, and I will provide you
with a cost for combined shipping.
3.
Why is the shipping cost so high when I go through Check
Out?
For
multiple item purchases, you will need to wait for me to
send you an eBay Invoice with combined shipping costs. Otherwise
eBay will simply add all the shipping amounts together,
and this amount is almost always too high. I process invoices
as soon as I can, but please request a total from me once
you're done for faster service.
4.
Why is the cost for Express Post sometimes cheaper than Regular
Post?
I
have a special business contract with Australia Post which
allows me to obtain "oversized" Express Post satchels
at a competitive price. This means that many of my larger
and heavier items can be sent via Express for the same or
an even lower cost than sending them via Regular mail, as
you might have noticed in some of my listings. It also means
that I can send items which wouldn't fit in a normal sized
satchel via Express Post for an economical price, and allows
greater scope for combining items in the one oversized satchel.
5.
What shipping services do you use to send items?
I
use Australia
Post for all my shipping needs and offer their full
ranges of services for Australian and international customers.
In my many years of trading on eBay, I have found Australia
Post to be the safest and most economical service available
in most cases and have had only a handful of packages go
missing in transit (all of which were compensated for by
Australia Post). I am happy to use and recommend them to
any buyer or seller on eBay. Occasionally, I stock items
that are too large or too heavy to be sent through Australia
Post. For these, I use a courier service for local Melbourne
deliveries and BusFreight for deliveries further afield.
6.
When will you send my package?
Items
will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days of receiving your
payment. I try to send all packages out on the same day
payment is received, but sometimes there might be a slight
delay of a day or two. If you have chosen Express
Post and I receive your payment by 12.00
noon on a business day, then I guarantee your package
will be sent that same afternoon. Express Post payments
received on a weekend, public holiday, or after 12.00 noon
will be sent the next available business day.
7.
When can I expect my package to arrive?
This
depends on your chosen shipping method as well as your location.
Within Australia, Express Post should arrive within 1-3
days, while Regular/Registered Post can take up to 2 weeks.
International parcels can take 1-3 weeks, depending on where
they are going. If your item hasn't arrived within these
time frames, please let me know.
8.
Do you ship outside of Australia?
Almost
all of my items can be shipped to anywhere in the world.
A very few items are restricted to Australia for reasons
of their size/weight, or because exporting them is problematic
for other reasons. If an item cannot be shipped internationally,
it will always be stated in the listing.
9.
I'm in Australia and the listing says that insurance is
"not offered". Why can't I insure this item?
You
certainly can insure any puchase you make from me. Within
Australia, you need to choose the Registered Post
option which is available on all my listings and
this cost will cover the full value of your purchase in
the case of loss or damage in transit. International buyers
are offered the "Insurance" option. While neither
option is compulsory, they are highly recommended. All care
is taken in packaging, but I cannot be held responsible
for uninsured items lost or damaged in transit
10.
How do I know my purchase will arrive safely?
I
always take great care with packaging and use bubble-wrap,
void-fill, padded envelopes and protective cardboard and/or
boxes whenever necessary. Very occasionally breakages do
occur, however, so I recommend Registered Post (which includes
insurance) for Australian buyers or Insurance for international
customers, especially if the item you are purchasing is
fragile. These options will insure that, in the rare event
of a loss or breakage in transit, I will be able to offer
a full refund or replacement item.
11.
Do you have more of this item than the quantity listed?
Yes,
I often have more of each item in stock than are currently
listed. If you would like to purchase more than the quantity
that is stated in this listing, please let me know and I
will be happy to revise the listing for you providing I
have the available stock.
12.
Do you have an different sizes/colours/designs to what is
listed in your store?
With
much of my clothing, I often have additional sizes to those
listed so please feel free to ask if you can't see what
you're after. If I don't have it in stock right now, I will
be happy to order it for you if I can. As I design and handcraft
all of the "Sinpatiko" chain maille jewellery
myself, I'm always more than happy to change bead colours
or alter the size of a piece at little or no charge depending
on the work involved.
13.
Do you have all your items in stock or am I going to have
to wait for weeks?
Every
single item that I have listed on eBay is currently in my
possession and ready to ship. I do not "dropship"
and I never list "pre-order" items. So
you can bid and buy with confidence, knowing that your item
will be sent just as soon as payment is made. That said,
if you can't find an item that I had previously listed,
please feel free to email and ask about it. It might only
be temporarily out of stock with a replacement shipment
on the way. I'm also happy to offer a special order service
if there is something you're after which isn't listed but
is still available from one of my many suppliers.
14.
Do you charge GST and supply a Tax Invoice?
Yes,
I have an ABN (Australian Business Number) and am registered
for GST, so all purchases are shipped with a Tax Invoice.
Please note, the listed price on all of my items already
includes GST so nothing is added on afterwards.
This also applies to auctions, so the amount of the winning
bid is exactly what you will pay. In accordance with eBay
policies, no GST will be added to the cost
of any item once it is purchased or an auction is won.
