Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does this machine have “Technical spec not listed”?
Unfortunately if a specification has not been listed we don’t know it. Please contact the manufacturer and quote the model number and serial number for more information on this particular piece of equipment.
2. Does this machine have consumables, if not can you supply?
You should assume all printers, faxes and copiers do NOT have consumables. We cannot supply consumables for any assets, although if they have consumables we may include them with some assets where there is no risk of damage from transporting them with the consumables in place.
3. How much charge does the battery hold for this notebook?
Batteries are tested on stand alone power (Battery power) for 30 mins. All these batteries are nearing the end of their design life however, so we do not make any warranty regarding the battery life and you should assume the battery will have no useful life.
4. Can I pick up from your warehouse?
Unfortunately due to lack of a shopfront or “face to face” sales team, we cannot allow members of the general public onto our site here at MTS. This ensures a customers safety and security could not be compromised here at MTS. You can either send in your courier company or we would be pleased to quote you a delivery charge.
5. Can I organise my own courier?
Yes customers are more than welcome to arrange their own registered courier to collect goods. Please notify a customer service advisor here at MTS of your nominated courier and details and we will be happy to organise it.
6. Can I inspect the asset before I place a bid?
Unfortunately due to lack of a shopfront or “face to face” sales team, we cannot allow members of the general public onto our site here at MTS. This ensures a customers safety and security could not be compromised here at MTS.
7. Does this machine have any marks or scratches?
All assets we list on eBay have been put through a vigorous inspection and testing procedure before we make them available for sale. The physical condition of each asset for sale is clearly defined in the listing and will ship to the customer as stated. Assets described as excellent condition may have very minor marks and scratches.
8. Does this auction come with a warranty?
All tested assets that MTS list on eBay ship with a 7 day DOA “Return to Base” warranty. Should you receive your asset in a different condition to that listed, please notify a customer service representative here at MTS and we will be happy to rectify the situation for you.
9. What software/operating system does this machine ship with?
Each auction details the operating system that each individual item will ship with, if any. Unless otherwise stated in the auction, no further software (Exc. Operating System) will be shipped.
10. Will I receive a tax invoice if I am the winning bidder?
Yes, for all sales conducted through eBay the customer will receive a tax invoice with all relevant details. (ABN, Address and Payment details, Tax breakdown and Freight costs).
11. Is this sale inclusive of GST?
Yes. All quoted prices (Including freight) for Australian buyers are inclusive of GST.
12. I am an overseas buyer, can I bid on this item?
Yes. Overseas buyers can bid on our items, however we will not ship to an overseas address. Overseas buyers will have to nominate an address within Australia for us to despatch to.
13. In the picture this machine has “X”, does this asset come with “X”?
Yes. The machine will ship as pictured.
14. Who are your nominated couriers?
We despatch all items below 35 kgs chargeable weight out via Australia Post’s eParcel Service. All items over 35kgs are delivered by COPE Sensitive Freight. All items require a signature before the courier will release the goods. For items delivered by Auspost if a signature cannot be obtained at your nominated address, a “Calling card” will be left and the item will be made available for pick up at your nearest Post Office.
15. Can I buy from MTS direct?
MTS does offer direct sales (Minimum of 25 units) of our equipment to resellers all over the world. Please forward your details onto us, including Business Name, Your Name and Title, business particulars and equipment of interest and we will be happy to assist. 16. I really need this item now! Can MTS end the auction early and sell this item to me?
Unfortunately here at MTS we prefer to allow the auctions to run their full duration, rather than ending them early. Please feel free to place a bid!
