Why the Postage and handling increase?..

I am a strong believer in making sure that we keep eBay exciting by offering auctions, however at this point in time, if we do not increase our handling fees, we will need to stop auctions and only offer fixed price listings.

We have not increased our postage and handling fees for over 4 year despite eBay increasing their fees and Australia post putting up their charges annually.

What it comes down to is that running this business still costs us a great deal of money, we want to continue to do what we do ($.01 cent start auctions) but we need to increase our handling fees to help pay for wages, rent and the repurchase of stock. If you think that our charges are too high please understand that it is not because we want to rip anyone off but we need to help cover our costs.

We have only increased the prices in the areas that we feel that we have needed to. I hope you can understand the price increase and continue to shop at our store ...

The main two changes is an increase of $2.00 for the 1st item and not sending every ring in a ring box (In the past we have sent out every ring in a ring box to protect in during postage - we have decided that not every ring needs to go in a box - if the stone is small and the risk of it getting dammaged is low then it will not be sent in a box thus saving you $3 on postage).
