Popular interface for connecting devices such as docket printers, pole displays and cash drawers. Shown is a DB9 plug which suits a 9 pin socket. Some older PC's may have a 25 pin socket to suit a DB25 plug. |

PS2 Keyboard Wedge
Barcode scanners can be easily connected to a PC using this interface which it shares with the keyboard. The green port is for the mouse while purple is for the keyboard. |

USB
While USB is the standard for connecting non POS devices to a PC, you should check that you particular POS system supports USB before purchasing any equipment which uses this interface. |
