Thank you for shopping with me on eBay!
It’s been a very interesting summer around Miss D’s house so far.
Miss D’s husband (Mr. Mike) is scheduled for spinal surgery in early August and will be recuperating at home for (gasp!) at least 12 weeks.
We’ve decided to enjoy some family time before Mr. Mike becomes a bit crankier than usual, so we’ll be away until Saturday, August 8th.
I will be listing some auctions to run while we’re away, so please check back next week (July 29 or so) to see what treasures and surprises Miss D has been saving. Hopefully you’ll find something that tickles your fancy! Remember, it's NEVER too early to start your holiday shopping!
I will have VERY limited e-mail access during the time I am away, so I may not be able to get back to you immediately to answer any questions you may have. I will do so as quickly as I possibly can-I promise you that!

I will be away for several days as my family and I travel to New York. My beloved dad passed away suddenly this morning, and will be missed so very much by all of us who loved him. Please keep us all in your prayers as we make arrangements and do our best to honor his life. His legacy of love and laughter is a priceless gift. Take the time to let people know they are loved, and hug someone special today.

UPDATE..... October 7th, 2006
My heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kindness, patience and good wishes.
It's now been a few weeks since my emergency gall bladder surgery, and I am feeling a bit stronger every day. Miss D's is back up and running again, and things are pretty much back to normal there. If only I could say the same about the rest of my life!
I am extremely grateful to the doctors who recognized that I had a life-threatening condition and made certain that I had the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
If Miss D has learned anything, it is to listen to what my body is trying to tell me. While I may still have needed surgery, it could have been a much easier, less invasive procedure had it not evolved into potentially deadly problems with my liver and pancreas. Sometimes those aches and pains are a lot more serious than we think. I hope you will all take good care of yourselves and learn a bit from my experience. Believe me, I have!
Please know that I truly value your business and will always do all I can to continue to provide the best possible experience for you. Thanks once again to the best eBayers there are!
