How to use your pendulum
Calm and centre yourself first, clear mind of clutter. Hold pendulum between your thumb and first finger by the bead at the top - in your right hand if right-handed, left hand if left-handed.
If the pendulum is swinging, stop it with your hand and let it hang straight and still. Ask your Guides or Higher Beings to be present if you wish.
How to establish your "yes", "no", responses?
This process only needs to be done once to establish the direction the pendulum swings for you for your responses.
For a yes direction: Ask the pendulum "Is my name .........(say your name).
The direction the pendulum swings will be your "yes" direction.
For a no direction: Ask the pendulum "Is my name .....(say a name which is not associated with you).
The direction the pendulum swings will be your "no" direction.
Repeat the process for a while if you wish.

Sometimes the metaphysical qualities of the stone can assist you in the type of questions you are asking eg Moonstone - womens issues, Rose Quartz - love issues, Citrine - money issues ,etc.
Please remember to ask questions which can be answered with a no or yes. Break down an issue into a number of questions if you need to.
