Terms of Sale

All bidders/buyers are welcome at our auctions.  We love to see newbies win our auctions, it's as much of a thrill for us as it is for you. We were newbies once too and we got a real kick out of winning our first items.

Now for the more serious stuff

All bidders please note that placing a bid on one of our items is a firm contract to purchase that item.  If you are at all unsure about the item, then please contact us first so that we can answer your questions. 

Anyone who does not pay for an item within the 7 day period from auction close, once they have committed to the purchase, will be registered as a nonpaying bidder in Ebay's dispute console. 

However, we are not unreasonable people, and if for any reason you may not be able to pay within that time, again, please contact us so that we can work out an alternative. 

As many of our items are preloved, please expect them to be in good to very good used condition unless otherwise stated.  We'll always describe them to the best of our ability and the pictures we post with the item form part of the description. 

Refunds and Returns

No refunds or returns will be accepted on items once purchased unless they are not as we describe in the item listing. If for any reason an item is not as described, please contact us to arrange a full refund of your money including the shipping.

Payment

We have a number of methods by which you can pay for our items.  We prefer Paypal because it's safe and fast and you can use your credit card to pay via this method.  However, if you don't have a Paypal account or would prefer to use another method, we also accept bank transfer, bank cheques and money orders.  No personal cheques please.

All items must be paid for within 7 days of the close of auction. 

Shipping

Because we know that you'd love to receive your items fast, we'll always have your items posted within 24 hours of your payment clearing. 

It's great to win more than one auction, so to help you save on postage costs, we're very happy to combine postage. So please email us for combined charges if you intend to purchase and pay for more than one item within a week.

All our items are very carefully packed in clean recycled packing materials where possible, however, there are times when we need to purchase extra packing.  To offset this cost, a small handling fee will be charged for each parcel. 

It's very important that you insure and register more fragile or expensive items.  It's always very upsetting and disappointing to receive a longed for item only to find it's been broken, so please, if you're at all concerned, ask us to quote for insurance costs. We'll always endeavour to help you if for some reason, your item goes astray in the mail, but please realise that we cannot be held responsible if the parcel goes astray or is damaged once it leaves our hands.
