Tacklemania Shipping Information
Shipping Costs
All shipping costs are specified in each item listing, but more information for Australian deliveries is provided below.
Fishing rods can only shipped to Australian residents
Postal insurance is optional, but highly recommended
Items can be combined automatically in checkout. For details, read below.
Delivery Times
Most items are in stock and shipment is usually within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment. Delivery with AAE is usually 1-3 business days. Not all items are held in stock. If an item is out of stock or on backorder we will email you to advise.Your order will then be placed on back order and shipped when stock arrives.
Shipping Methods
Local Shipping (Australia)
Shipping is charged at $14.95 for first rod + $7.50 additional rods and $9.95 for reel/tackle item + $2 for each additional reel/tackle item (see below for combining rods and with reels and tackle)
Tacklemania groups items into 2 product groups for shipping.
- Fishing rods : $14.95 charge for the first fishing rod in any order, then $7.50 for each additional rod.
- Reels & Tackle : $9.95 charge for the first reel/tackle item in any order, then $2 for each additional item.
- Example: 1 Fishing rod + 2 fishing reels + 1 packet lures = $14.95 (rod) + $9.95 (reel)+ $2 (reel) +$2 (lures) = $28.90. Insurance optional, but highly recommended.
If you would like to combine winning items DO NOT checkout now or pay for your item. Wait until you have finished bidding. Once an item has been paid for we cannot combine it with another item or any future won items within our 7 day payment requirement.
We allow 7 days for payment. When completing checkout all items are automatically combined using our secure order system.
Delivery time for metropolitan areas is 1-2 days. Orders under $50 may not require a signature upon delivery. In some cases if you are not home to accept delivery the driver will leave a card advising you of further re-delivery options.
The postage cost includes 2 attempted deliveries for most orders and will then be returned to sender. If your item is returned to sender we will have to charge a re-delivery fee if you wish the item to be delivered again.
AAE offers tracked shipping. You can track your shipment with your tracking code here at the AAE website.
International Shipping (Outside Australia)
International shipments are sent via Australia Post International Airmail.
Shipments are weight based. Shipping costs and calculator are provided in each item listing.

Please Note: You are responsible for any duties or taxes deemed collectable by your country. Please check with the appropriate authority to see if any taxes or duties apply before placing your order.
Pickups
We do not offer pickups for any items purchased through ebay.
In order to provide the lowest possible pricing to you, we cannot support this service.
Tacklemania Returns Information
General Warranty Information
We offer a 3 month warranty for our Instruments sold on ebay. However, we do offer support for you if your item is damaged or there are other some types of other faults with your item on arrival
We will happily offer replacement items (no refunds) if:
- Item is dead on arrival
- There is a manufacturing fault with the item
- The wrong item was sent to you
Note :
- We must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the product if you would like a replacement or refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable.
- You must choose shipping insurance during checkout or we CANNOT replace an item damaged in shipping.
- If you have purchased an item, and decided you would like to return it, we may offer a refund less a restocking fee.
- Please be aware that any unauthorised repairs carried out on any of our products will result in the Warranty being voided.

Wrongly Received Goods, Goods Dead On Arrival ('DOA')
If you have received an incorrect item or your item is dead on arrival please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the item to organise an exchange.
After subsequent review, a Tacklemania representative will contact you with a Return Authorisation Number and relevant details for the return of the goods.
Please note that replacements are not given for damaged packaging, only where the goods are damaged. All items must be deemed damaged by a member of our service department prior to replacement. Once your item has been inspected, you will be contacted by a Tacklemania representative. If no damage is found, return of the product will be at the customers expense. If you do not choose to have the item exchanged and request a refund, a 20% restocking fee will be charged on all saleable returns.
Return Of Unwanted Goods
The Return Authorisation Request must be submitted within 7 days of receipt of the item. Costs associated with the return of unwanted goods are the responsibility of the customer.
All goods must be returned unused, in the original packaging, and in saleable condition.
A 20% restocking fee applies to unwanted goods returned for a refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Customers are unable to exchange an unwanted item.
Return Of Faulty Goods Within Warranty Period
If you receive an item that has a manufacturing defect upon arrival, or if it fails within the specified warranty period, please email or phone us as soon as the defect is identified. A Tacklemania representative will contact you with a Return Authorisation Number and details on how to return the goods to our warehouse for inspection.
Costs associated with the return of goods are the responsibility of the customer.
If a fault is not reported to us within the specified warranty period, we will not be responsible for refund or replacement of that item.
All items must be deemed faulty by a member of our service department to be covered by warranty. Once your item has been inspected, you will be contacted by a Tacklemania representative. Faults caused by misuse, or normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty. If an item is found to be faulty for the above reasons, it will be returned to the customer and no replacement item will be given. If no fault is found, return of the product will be at the customers expense. If you do not choose to have the item returned and request a refund, a 20% restocking fee will be charged on all saleable returns.
