Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully this page contains all the information you’ll need for a smooth and easy transaction. Despite appearances I do not operate a shop or business. I am just a regular guy working a regular job and paying off a regular mortgage. That’s why I’ve decided to sell off an extensive music collection which has been more than 20 years in the making. I have hundreds of items listed for sale with new inventory being added daily. I offer combined shipping on all items so be sure to look at my other listings.

Grading

All vinyl is visually graded under a 100 watt halogen light. Obvious flaws will be noted in the listing. Unless the item is brand new or sealed the highest grade I’ll ever use for a record is NEAR MINT. I do not sell any badly scratched, warped or unplayable vinyl. NEAR MINT The vinyl should appear like new. NM-/VG++ A few visible flaws may be present but should not affect play quality. VG+ Light marks which may cause slight audible defects, low level background noise or occasional pops or ticks which do not overwhelm the music. VG the record has obviously been played often but is still in good playing condition - there may be obvious signs of wear or scratches which may cause surface noise or occasional pop or ticks. I only consider a VG record worthy of listing if it is a particularly rare or collectable item.

Shipping

Due to work commitments I do not specialise in fast shipping. I try to dispatch orders within 4-5 days of payment, however this is not always possible. If you do need something delivered urgently please contact me first and I'll see what I can do.

The following shipping rates are for a single lp, effective as of July 1 2008. Multiple purchases including double albums and box sets will be charged according to weight. If you are purchasing multiple items please wait for my invoice before completing checkout.

Australia - $7.50

Zone A (New Zealand) - $12.50

Zone B (Asia Pacific) - $14.65

Zone C (United States, Canada, Middle East) - $16.85

Zone D (Rest of World) - $20.15

Packing

Records are removed from their jackets to prevent seam splitting, placed inside a poly sleeve and then packed between two sheets of cardboard with corex reinforcement to prevent bending, creasing or corner damage. I have found this method to be very reliable. Check my feedback for comments. For larger orders I use custom record mailers where available.

Payments

I prefer payment by direct deposit where possible. Banking details will be provided in the checkout. I also accept PayPal payments and money orders. I do not accept personal cheques, nor bank cheques drawn on foreign banks. Local pickup from Berkeley NSW is available for most items.

Insurance

**Please note that insurance is the buyer’s responsibility. I pack safely but I cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. Registered mail is available at the buyer’s option. International Registered Mail is available for an additional $10.00 and includes up to $100 insurance. This may be required for purchases over $50.00. Domestic Registered Mail is available for an additional $3.00 and includes up to $100 insurance. This may be required for purchases over $75.00.
