WARRANTY
Every product that “The Tool Shop” sells is automatically covered by warranty. The length of warranty varies according to product type, brand and manufacturer.
A minimum of 3 months warranty is applicable to all products however any item that features a longer warranty period will be shown within the item description.
If you incur a warranty problem with any item purchased from “The Tool Shop”, please contact us with your ebay username, item id, item description, invoice number, date purchased and the type of warranty claim. One of our customer service operators will respond to your email within 24 hours.
“The Tool Shop” should be contacted in the same manner should you receive a DOA (dead on arrival) item.
*Please note damage caused in transit is not covered by warranty. This is a transport issue and as such should be dealt with by making a claim on insurance (see more information in the shipping section of each item description).
RETURNS
“The Tool Shop” will only accept returns for DOA (dead on arrival) items or items not matching the item description. Unfortunately we are unable to accept a return if a customer changes their mind.
Prior to returning any DOA or incorrectly supplied item, please ensure you contact us with your ebay username, item id, item description, invoice number & date purchased.
“The Tool Shop” will then organise for a courier to collect the items.
Upon return, the correct goods or a replacement will be dispatched.
*NB. Replacement cannot be dispatched until the original product has arrived back in our warehouse.
*NB. All items must be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories, manuals and inclusions. Should items not be returned in their original condition, the item may not be accepted or the value of the missing components deducted from the total of the invoice.
REFUNDS
Refunds are provided on any DOA (dead on arrival) item where the customer chooses not to receive the correct replacement or where “The Tool Shop” is unable to supply the advertised product. The refund will be provided in full via Paypal, Bank Deposit or Cheque.
Refunds are not provided for any other reason.
Should “The Tool Shop” vary its returns and refunds policy for an item supplied as described, the shipping and insurance component is non-refundable. A 25% re-stocking fee will also be deducted from the value of the invoice.
