About the Condition of Items: We sell vintage, recycled, used clothing and just by its very nature, clothing is generally not perfect. Below is a glossary of our description terms:
Perfect: mint, pristine, without a defect or flaw visible to the naked eye and generally reserved for new old stock, deadstock or brand new items with the tag. You will not find this rating on many of the items we sell as this is reserved for the creme de la creme flawless and a rarity indeed as we are very critical in our descriptions. In fact, many find that the clothing we sell is actually BETTER than described
Near Perfect: excellent condition without flaws to note. You will receive it and will be able to take it out of the packaging and wear it right away ~ no trip to the seamstress or dry cleaner or any other stop before wearing the new treasure. Many of the items we sell fall into this category as we are often lucky enough to find items that have never been worn
Very Good to Good: good sound vintage condition (not new condition) but gently used with minor flaws that will not compromise the integrity of the garment. Flaws will be noted and are easily repairable (example: a couple of stitches to a hem or seam, a tiny dot of a stain, a light "storage smell")
WE GENERALLY SELL ITEMS THAT FALL WITHIN THE NEAR PERFECT TO GOOD CONDITION RANGE
Fair: not perfect and in need of TLC. Most likely wearable after repair; often at a bargain price. The item was too "FUN"ky to pass up and even with its little imperfections, we believe it will be a great piece to wear, display or copy. In this category, we would add items that have more major stains that will need serious dry cleaning and/or soaking
Poor: we don't sell items that clearly reek of smells, are torn or stained beyond repair or are just plain UGLY. We sell only what we would be proud to wear ourselves
