WARRANTY CLAIMS
SOS (Dynamic Clothing pty Ltd) warrants that, if your SOS sunglasses ever fail for any Manufacturer's Defect SOS will repair or replace them. We only require that you return your sunglasses to us, including a letter describing exactly what happened to your SOS sunglasses, a dated proof of purchase and a $15 fee to cover processing of your claim. We encourage you to be detailed in your letter and give us a vivid account of what happened.
S.O.S Xchangeable Lens Eyewear styles (unless otherwise stated) have a LIFETIME WARRANTY
All other styles ( Polarized, Motorcycle sunglasses and Goggles, Sports Wraps and any others not stated here have a 1 year warranty)
1. Making a Warranty Claim: To make a claim. Please send your SOS sunglasses, your letter, a dated proof of purchase and a cheque or money order for $15.00 to Dynamic Clothing Pty Ltd, P.O.Box 209, Edmonton, Queensland 4869. Be sure to include your proof of purchase, your name, return address, and phone number. We encourage you to send your SOS eyewear by a traceable method (such as express / registered / insured mail), since we are not responsible under this warranty for lost or misdirected packages.
2. Limitation on Damages: FOR BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT, THE CONSUMER IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING DAMAGES: REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT OR REPLACEMENT WITH AN IDENTICAL OR EQUIVALENT MODEL, AT THE ELECTION OF Dynamic Clothing. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, SUCH AS SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT.
3. Scope and Duration of the Warranty: This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser of these SOS sunglasses, and lasts for the periods stated above as long as you own your SOS sunglasses. This warranty covers all parts of your SOS sunglasses (with the exception of lenses) and applies to Manufacturer's Defects.
4. Manufacturer's Defects within 30 days of Purchase: If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship within the first 30 days of purchase, Dynamic Clothing will return the $15 processing fee along with the repair or replacement of your SOS sunglasses. We have the sole discretion to determine manufacturer's defects. Scratched lenses are NOT a manufacturer's defect.
5. Substitution of Similar Style or Colour Sunglasses: Because styles and colours of sunglasses change, we reserve the right to substitute a style and/or colour of SOS sunglasses which are similar, but not identical, to the SOS sunglasses returned to us under this warranty. Every effort will be made to discuss suitable alternatives.
6. Reproduction of Customer Letters: Dynamic Clothing / SOS reserves the right to reproduce all or any portion of any customer letter received in connection with this warranty in its advertising or promotional materials without compensation to the customer. The submission of any letter along with a warranty claim will constitute a license permitting SOS use and reproduction of all or any portion of the customer letter in connection with its business.
7. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
8. This warranty applies to SOS Sunglasses purchased in Australia only.
9. Please also remember that "they just broke when I was putting them on my head" is not a warranty claim. They were probably broken in your bag or pocket before you placed them on your head.
10. Lenses are not warranted against scratching. They are designed to provide you protection from the sun's harmful rays, the wind, small debris and snow only.
12. If your Survival Optics Sunglasses are not covered under our warranty, don't worry, we offer a Trashed Replacement Option. For a nominal fee, you can replace all or part of your Trashed Sunglasses.
REFUND POLICY
All SOS Eyewear products carry a 7-day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please e-mail us for a refund authorization number. Be sure to include your order number along with your refund request. All returns must include the refund authorization number or they will be refused. Once we receive your item we will credit your credit card account for the amount of your purchase. (Excluding shipping cost)
The product will be inspected upon receipt. All returns must be in resaleable condition and all original packaging must be in place for full credit to be issued. No credit will be issued if the product shows signs of use. Guarantee does not cover accidental damage or wear of product caused by the customer. SOS Eyewear guarantees to deliver all products defective-free. Prior to shipping your order we conduct a quality inspection on all items against defects. Returns that lack original packaging material or products that show wear will be will be refused or are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Be sure to send your return merchandise via a traceable method (delivery conformation or insured mail). We are not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen or damaged en route.
EXCHANGE POLICY
We do not normally exchange our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your order due to colour or style please request a refund. We can only exchange items for customers who agree to pay an additional $15.00 for shipping and handling charges. Please e-mail us prior to any exchange returns so we may ensure your desired colour and style are in stock.
